There is an increasing trend around the world. This is the increasing use of credit cards for purchases by youth and teens. Consumer groups have been monitoring this trend and suggest that in the past it was more difficult to receive credit cards from the bank. Therefore, fewer youngsters were able to successfully apply and receive one. Today, however, the situation has changed drastically. Thanks to the increasing use of online credit card applications being done through the internet younger groups are able to apply for the credit. Under age users of credit cards can pose a major problem for more than just their parents.
